i Repairing Oil Rig Outposts

Oil rigs use electricity and make pollution, so they get attacked. Can defend them with turrets, but there's no way I can see to automate repair. Roboports can't be placed on wooden platforms (to prevent logistics network creep - I get that). You can put roboports in the small boats, but not when they're on waterways.
So that means the only way to repair is to remotely drive a boat to each outpost and fix it up. Not very sustainable for a large base or a run with bases on multiple planets. Am I missing something?
If not - I think adding a logistics range to oil rigs could help. Let them hold bots and repair kits like a port. They can't be placed freely so network creep isn't an issue. Then small boats / cargo ships could be used on waterways to resupply the rig specific network with ammo / repair kits as needed.

Am I missing something?

Oil rig generally should generate a bit of pollution in small radius so there is no real need to defend.
It spread for like 2-5 tiles depending if and which modules you use.
Similar to how you don't need to defend agri towers on gleba if you clear spore cloud radius area.
Yellow boat was intended for remote expansion. Not with intention of constantly repairing base

planet was made in a way it can be self sustainable without any weapons other than ones for clearing nests, similar to how gleba can be completed
