Does this change gameplay?

No. Only names, descriptions, and icons. Recipes, costs, and research times are unchanged.

Is the biochemistry accurate?

Yes. This is the real steroid biosynthesis pathway - how your body produces estrogen from cholesterol.

Why is testosterone in the pathway?

Testosterone is a natural precursor to estradiol. Your ovaries convert T→E2 via aromatase. It's not contradictory.

Is this how HRT works?

No. HRT provides estradiol directly, bypassing biosynthesis. This mod shows the pathway HRT skips.

Base game vs Space Age?

Base game shows 7 key steps. Space Age adds the full mevalonate pathway (how cholesterol is made) and the parallel estrone branch.

Compatibility?

Works with any mod that doesn't also rename science packs.
