g Waterway rotations

Hi, I've been designing some blueprints with waterways, and I have noticed that the waterways don't always play nice with rotations. I could design a layout perfectly, then when rotating it turns out it's too close to the shore. Rotating it back, it still works.

Are you aware of this difficulty and would you know how to fix it in the mod? (For now, I can just try designing with more space, but I like to be as compact as possible).

There is nothing we can do about this. The rail entity collision box shapes are hard coded in the game engine and affect normal rails the same way. I'd we could change them at all, we would have made them wider to begin with, because the ships look silly when they are turning right next to land.

Alright, thank you for your explanation.
I'm still confused though, because I don't think this ever happens with vanilla rails? I've never encountered a rail blueprint suddenly having a turn be mismatched next to water or anything like that. Perhaps the fact the 'rail' is on water instead of land makes things difficult. But it's highly peculiar.
