YAIM904 d28b – Hot or Cold turns Factorio into a treasure-hunting mini-game, inspired by the classic children’s game hot and cold.

In each chunk, a hidden reward can be found by following feedback that tells you whether you are getting hotter or colder as you move closer to the prize.

This MOD adds a playful exploration mechanic without affecting normal factory gameplay.

⚙️ How it works (Player view)

Each chunk can contain a hidden gift
The game provides feedback indicating:
🔥 You are getting closer (hot)
❄️ You are moving away (cold)
Press F to quickly interact and search
You have unlimited attempts
When the gift is found, you receive:
🎁 Between 5 and 20 items
Items that:
- Can be obtained naturally, or
- Are available through any recipe currently unlocked

No setup or configuration is required.
