g Legendary rare metals

18 days ago

Has anyone a tipp how to get rare metals in legendary quality? I wanted to go megabase with this mod and need a lot of legendary blue chips.

Any item that's good for upcycling perhaps?

Using Glebian greenhouse recipes using legendary fertiliser is consistent way to get legendary stuff

perfect, thank you

I am a bit confused how this gets rare metal. Glebian greenhouse just lets you produce jellynut or yumako and neither give rare metal.

You needed to convert them into bioflux and cultivate bacterias with them

Hey sorry to sound dense but this still doesn't explain how to get rare metal ores.

So this is bioflux recipes

What I do get is.
Breed upscaling biomass -> Legendary Fertilizer
Everything is Legendary at this point
Fertilizer -> Jellynut, Yumako
Jellynut, Yumako -> Mash and jelly
Mash and jelly -> bioflux
bioflux -> plastic, Iron, copper, sulfur, Spoilage
Spoilage -> carbon -> coal

...and that's it. How does it make RARE METAL ORE?

Because the only ways I see to be able to is by upscaling or making matter, and that still requires a legendary matter stabilizer which itself requires legendary rare metals.

If you just want legendary blue circuits you can use gleba recipe, if you want rare metals you can just spend legendary matter stabilisers to get more once you upcycle enough rare metals to startup this loop

This is because the blue chip recipe is not inside the biochamber, and is using assembly machines or EMP. Once you have legendary eggs cloning, you can begin to produce blue chips from legendary eggs/red chips.

The green chips can be produced from the fruit, as well as the copper cable, but the electronic components will require you to import legendary stone to make the quartz and glass. The plastic is easy to make on planet though, so you would have most of what you need done.

Considering the 300% productivity you can get with research though, you can regain a significant portion of the red chips. Since it requires 4 red chips, and recycling gives 0-1 chip. So it seems that at maxed productivity you should be able to maintain the loop once you get it started for infinite legendary rare metals.

I set up a test world to simulate the idea and it ended up making infinite blue, red and rare metals. :D

I used the gleba recipe for legendary blue chips with the legendary pentapod eggs and recycled it back down to rare metals. You can build the blue chips with gleba recipe and recycle to regular recipe then you get the rare metals
