I'd like to do a playthrough where I can't actually go anywhere, and have to do things with vehicles (like the warden from aai) and the like to actually interact with the world. This mod is exactly what I need to make it happen, but since the spidertron tech is so deep in the tech tree I'd like to have to start with other vehicles.

Orbital deployment is unlocked when the space platform is researched.

You should be able to drop and deploy any vehicle once they are on a platform and above a planet
