So i put together a Modpack to test this recycling to the limit. ( Added ultimate belts, merging chests, infinite stacking, unlimited quality,...)
When i got to the scrap recycling at 2000 items/s my game started heavy stuttering, i looked at the time-usage and sure enough recursive-recycling was taking 112 ticks.
From what i gathered when the scrap results spoils, it takes such a big compute time that multiplying that with 2000 of them/s is what makes this lag.
Is there a way for U, _CodeGreen, to optimize the spoilage system more?
A thought i had was when there is no new crafting recipe have that as a list that the spoil result chooses from?(don't know if u are already doing that).
