just downloaded your mod to help with my power spaghetti, but unfortunately, on the optimal layout it isolated the roboport in the middle of each block . as can be seen in the central square. is there anyway to make it connect like the blocks on either side ?

Hmmm - did you use the mode with shift held down? It ought not isolate power networks in 'normal' mode but the shift-mode will force all connections to be only with peers aligned at 90 degree angles, which can potentially disconnect networks.

without shift it just connects everything to everything O_o HAHAH .

Right, the normal mode just re-places the poles, you've got them tightly packed enough that they'll all naturally connect to 5 peers. 90 degree mode is restricted to 90 degree connections; I guess what would make your design snap cleanly as-is would be if it supported 45 degree linking as well, but that's a lot trickier to implement. For now, I'd say: align a pole in your inner ring with a pole in your outer ring so that it'll connect when in 90 degree mode, or else reduce the overall high density of poles in your setup.
