Currently the small radiator is unlocked with the space platform technology, however in order to craft them heat pipes are required, which are not unlocked with the same research. While fine with just SA, this can become a problem with other mods, for example Cerys in combination with Nuclear science pack (Talandar99) moves the research for nuclear power to after the moon. Meaning i can't get any heat pipes for small radiator without several long space flights. As heat pipes are necessary for both crafting small radiators and operating platforms, they should be unlocked with the same technology as the small radiator.
I really liked the idea of needing heat managend in TFMG, and was very happy to see you bringing it to SA. I excited to build my first platform (outside of TFGM), with this new logistical challenge. Platforms look just so much cooler with the radiators. :)
For now i made the change locally for myself so i can continue playing.
