Enriching Industry

Adds further ore enrichment to Crushing Industry for even more yield at the cost of increased complexity. Some might call it win-win.

i Compatibility with BZ mods?

Hello! Love the concept of the mod and was an instant download for me, as I have been on the search for something almost exactly like this!

That said, I am also using several of the BZ mods (lead, silica/silcon, tin, titanium, and zircon), to which Crushing Industry has compatibility for these - are you planning, or willing to add support/compatibility for them?

I understand if it would be too much effort, but for my sake at least, I would thoroughly enjoy and appreciate it.

Either way, thanks again for this mod - looking forward to putting it to good use!

Thanks for the feedback, it means a lot to me. Hope you find lots of good use!

To answer the question I need to elaborate a little. I'm not very familiar with the BZ mods myself and thus I don't feel confident in providing adequate compatibility in a timely manner. While I'm not entirely unwilling, I don't have as much time for modding as I want and I'd like to prioritize other things first. So, if you or anyone else is interested in providing compatibility, either as a separate mod or as part of EI, I'd appreciate that and encourage you to do so.
However, I'm planning to add unique icons for various enriched metals (almost all of those you listed) for another side project mod I'm cooking in the background. Once I'm done with that, the icons can be used for compat with BZ and other mods as well. Should no one rise to the challenge by then, I'll see what I can do, but no promises.

The additional context is appreciated - thank you for being open to it.

That said, I would be open to assisting to the extent I can with at least the Lua coding, as that I am fairly familiar with - not so much with icons/graphics. If I were to provide the needed code to add compatibility, minus the icons/graphics (would probably just be placeholders/stubs), would you be open to such a pull request?

Either way, I am already enjoying the mod - thanks again!

Yes, absolutely! Sounds fantastic, I'd highly appreciate that.

I'm out this weekend but I should have the icons ready by the end of next week if everything goes well.

Happy to hear that you're enjoying it!

I've uploaded some initial icons for Tin, Lead, Titanium and Zircon to Github.

I assume silica/silicon uses Quartz. Let me know if you need another material for the compat. I'm also open to feedback on the icons if you think something needs adjusting.

Awesome, fantastic news! I'll take a look here shortly. Thanks again for being open to this and providing the needed graphics/icons, much appreciated!

As far as silica/silicon and Quartz, I'm still trying to think through how to have the two work together, given that presently silicon comes from smelting silica, which comes from crushing sand, of which quartz comes presently from washing sand - mostly trying to think through what would be relatively realistic, but still balanced in terms of gameplay.
