Yeah that's because it's still a resource. Check if the resource type for sealed core seams are hidden ("Other" tab), and maybe just remove those sites manually (or filter hide them with filters). I haven't found a satisfying way of dealing with sealed core seams because as long as they may be opened again, it's useful to keep them registered.
