i CI 0.5.0 overwites optical-fiber added by bzsilicon

Hello again! I found in the most recent update of CI to version 0.5.0 with my current save in which I have several BZ mods, the optical-fiber item/recipe added by bzsilicon is overwritten.

I understand, if I am not mistaken, that optical-fiber was added as a means to address excess sand; however, with bzsilicon present, this was (at least for my current save) a non-issue, as I simply re-routed and prioritized excess sand to silica/silicon production (stone -> sand -> silica -> optical fiber or silicon), of which the silicon is used en-masse in advanced circuit and processing unit production (silicon wafers).

Long story short, while I saw that you included an option to disable the newly added optical-fiber (much appreciated), would it be possible to make it so that when optical fiber is enabled, and bzsilicon is present, that the recipe uses silica instead of copper plate? That is, instead of 1 x plastic, 2 x glass, 2 x copper-plate, it would be 1 x plastic, 2 x glass, 2 x silica (or 4 silica, as the recipe for optical-fiber from bzsilicon is 1 silica to 1 optical-fiber).

No rush if you are willing, as I can modify it locally myself; just would prefer/enjoy native compatibility.

Hi Eckelmonster! I am not as familiar with BZ Silicon so I didn't know about optical fiber specifically, but yeah I can add support next chance I get! It may take a bit, since I'll have to make sure I don't override the balance BZ Silicon has already done for optical fiber. I wouldn't be surprised if we had some convergent evolution here.

Fantastic, I greatly appreciate it! Thank you again for being open to improving your amazing mods even further!

After looking at the balance of things, I've resolved the conflict by modifying the tech tree. The specific purpose of optical fiber with Crushing Industry is to provide an effective sink for sand byproducts from Scrappy Industry and other crushing processes. As a result, removing glass from optical fiber is not an option. Changing the recipe to include silica would make the optical fiber very unwieldly (I don't like making 4-ingredient recipes if I can help it), and it'd feel weird to have both glass and silica in the recipe, seeing as they're both derived from stone. Swapping copper with silica would drastically affect the resource demand of advanced circuits. So while it's unfortunate to remove a use for silica, it's still used in silicon which is used in advanced circuits anyway, so it still gets in there.

That all makes sense and seems fair. To be honest, I had really only initially come from the perspective of what little I know of IRL optical fiber and its composition, not really considering game balance - whoops. While I might also not mind the additional complexity, I get that it's not for everyone necessarily; I can always add silica back in my local instance if I feel the need/desire.

Thanks again, I appreciate your hard work.
