g Upgrade table?

I start a new game with just this mod. I don't see any technologies that apply to this mod. On the description it talks about certain "key technologies" that upgrade your companion. What are they. I don't understand how to upgrade my companion.

Also they are not flying back to me to unload when their trunk is full. They just sit there stalled with the laser beams out and lagging. Is this intended?

I have experience the same issue. I'm in Challenge mode. Companion get "stuck" and I have to disable and enable construction mode to get it moving. But it does not last much and again it get stuck (not flying back)

I'm also curious as to which technologies unlock more Companion bot features.

I can confirm that they still sometimes get stuck when a tree grows in an area they were trying to build on and when they had a previous task in an area outside of a "leash range" around the player (causing them to float back and forth).
Things aren't as bad after replacing the early game Mk0 roboport, although the regular one having 1000 range and a lot of simultaneous actions comes with its own issues-- the bots waste time "reaching" to perform tasks that are very far apart from each other and even lag the game (and get partially stuck) by grabbing too many items at once on a fresh command to remove things in an area.
