Auto Player Control
Auto Player Control automates the tedious clicking involved in manual construction and deconstruction. If you've spent hundreds of hours in Factorio and your wrist is starting to complain, this mod is for you.
The mod simulates player actions 1:1. It doesn't make anything faster or easier — it just saves your hands. Build range is unchanged. Deconstruction takes the same time as manual mining. Items are consumed from your inventory exactly as they would be if you placed them yourself.
When enabled, Auto Player Control will:
- Automatically place buildings for any ghost within your reach (if you have the items)
- Automatically mine entities marked for deconstruction within your reach
- Show a green circle indicating your build range
- Highlight unbuildable ghosts with a red overlay (missing materials)
How to Use
Toggle Auto Player Control on/off using the construction robot icon in your shortcut bar, or press Shift + C.
When enabled, a green circle shows your build range (can be disabled in settings). Any ghost inside this area will be built automatically if you have the required items. Ghosts you can't build show a red overlay.
Auto Player Control also deconstructs trees, rocks, fish, and marked entities when you get close enough.
