The shotgun shells and cannon shells added by this mod are incompatible with their appropriate weapons and are currently assigned to regular guns and gun turrets.
That being said, it's certainly an amusing bug. A single gun turret loaded with thermobaric cannon shells can completely wipe out even the biggest nests in seconds.
