Lithium electronic components were removed from K2 for a while, but with the 2.0 port they were re-added. The original tantalite seems to have been made during the time when the recipe didn’t exist. But I feel like it should be accounted for now that it’s a thing again. Besides, it’s kind of weird how tantalum capacitors can be entirely phased out if you start using the lithium recipe, since they have no other uses besides electronic components. And it makes the lithium recipe a bit stronger than it’s perhaps supposed to be, since it was made to be more efficient than the base K2 recipe, which is already cheaper than the one with capacitors.
