The Crusher produces limestone powder normally when set up. However, after updating any mod and reloading the save the recipe changes to limestone recycling, nullifying a majority of limestone instead. Emptying the crusher and placing limestone back in resumes the correct recipe.

In testing to try and reproduce, it seems to only happen after updating or installing any mod. Closing the game and re loading the save normally, without updating anything in between, doesn't seem to produce the issue.

I have a number of mods installed, the crusher is touched by:
Krastorio 2 > Stable Foundations > Combat Mechanics Overhaul > AAI Industry > Space Exploration > Bottleneck Lite

The recipe for crushing limestone doesn't appear in the Factoriopedia or Recipe Book.

An interesting bug.

Hey. I think this could be because the crusher is a furnace. You can't select the recipe and the game will autoselect it. There is no guaranteed logic for the recipe selection. I need to dive into this and see for myself what could be good solution.

I think I'll just remove the limestone crushing recipe (the voiding one). If you really want to void it, you need to crush it twice or convert to stone first.

Fix will be in the next release.
