Krastorio 2 Imersite Asteroids

Add more challenge to your game by postponing imersite mining on Nauvis until you mastered asteroid mining. This mod will lock the imersite drill behind the advanced tech card, and you'll need to bootstrap it by acquiring imersite in space - mostly en route to Aquilo or traversing the asteroid belt (should you choose to install that mod), though Fulgora also has some trace amounts of it too.

Due to recent changes in K2SO matter tech cards are now gated post-Aquilo, and advanced tech cards are available earlier. Due to this, Immersite Mining is now post-Aquilo tech with this mod

Hmm... Sounds good, I guess? The mod did similar effort anyway - to push the immersite mining into the future. The K2SO change now pushes it a little bit further, right?

Or do I miss something? I didn't play K2SO in a while now so if this really needs fixing - please give more info.

Hello, I'm the culprit who found the issue. :-)

I feel there are enough technologies up to Aquilo to avoid pushing the use of imersium so far out. Matter technology (the ability to disassemble/assemble matter) will become a post-Aquilo branch of the tech tree. Right now it requires all tech cards and is - of course - a prerequisite of Singurlarity tech card, which in itself demands quite a lot of imersium.

K2SO itself doesn't push immersite, it's still a nauvis tech. But it did push the matter tech card to Aquilo, and because this mod uses the matter card in a research, the whole immersite mining is also moved to aquilo as a result

Thank you for reporting. I removed the dependency now. The mod description says explicitly "pre-Aquilo" so it makes sense to keep it this way.
